Cathleen D. Kendall Cathleen represents clients in connection with various transactional matters as well as general corporate and business law. Cathleen has advised clients on mergers and acquisitions, securities offerings and the formation of investment funds. Cathleen's clients have included companies ranging from start-ups to international Fortune 100 companies, investment funds and management companies, private equity investors, investment banks and commercial banks. Additionally, Cathleen represents abused and neglected children as a court-appointed guardian ad litem. Cathleen began her legal career in 1997 working in the corporate department of Simpson Thacher & Bartlett in New York City. At Simpson Thacher, Cathleen focused on domestic and international securities offerings and public and private mergers and acquisitions. In January of 2000, Cathleen left Simpson Thacher and joined the Colorado office of Cooley Godward LLP where she worked in the corporate and fund formation groups. While at Cooley Godward, Cathleen represented leading venture and private equity funds in connection with their formation, investments, compliance and on-going operations. In April of 2002, Cathleen left Cooley Godward to become a partner of Kendall & Associates, the predecessor of Kendall, Koenig & Oelsner. Cathleen received her Juris Doctorate, cum laude, in 1997 from Duke University School of Law. Cathleen received a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, magna cum laude, from the University of Notre Dame in 1994. |
