Benjamin P. Oelsner Ben specializes in the representation of companies in intellectual property and technology-related transactions. Ben's transactional experience includes structuring, drafting and negotiating a wide range of commercial transactions, including software license agreements, OEM agreements, VAR agreements, reseller agreements, technology transfer and development agreements, services agreements, electronic commerce agreements and Internet co-marketing and co-branding agreements. Ben provides advice regarding domestic and international intellectual property utilization, protection and management and has experience in domestic and international trademark counseling and prosecution. Ben's clients range from start-ups to large public companies and include life sciences companies, software vendors, hardware manufacturers, and a wide variety of e-commerce and Internet-related businesses. Prior to joining Kendall, Koenig & Oelsner, Ben was an associate in the Technology Transactions Group of Cooley Godward's Colorado office and an associate at Brobeck, Phleger & Harrison in Palo Alto, California. Ben received his law degree in 1995 from the University of San Francisco School of Law where he was member of the Law Review. He received a B.A. in Philosophy from the University of California at Santa Barbara in 1985. Ben is admitted to practice in Colorado and California. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Colorado Bar Association and the Boulder County Bar Association. |
