Jonathon Taylor Jon specializes in securities and general corporate law with extensive experience in public securities offerings, venture capital financings, Rule 144A debt offerings, mergers and acquisitions and public securities law compliance. Jon has helped guide numerous private companies through their initial public offerings and has served as underwriters' counsel in several other transactions. Jon has provided counsel on SEC compliance to a number of companies, ranging from small-cap technology companies to Fortune 500 companies. He also has significant experience with structuring and financing going-private transactions, including high-yield debt offerings. Jon joined Kendall, Koenig & Oelsner after practicing corporate and securities law with Smith Anderson in Raleigh, North Carolina, Cooley Godward in Boulder, Colorado and Wilson, Sonsini, Goodrich & Rosati in Palo Alto, California. Jon graduated from Duke Law School, magna cum laude and was elected to the Order of the Coif. While in law school, he served as Articles Editor of the journal of Law and Contemporary Problems. Jon is a co-author of "The Sale of Technology-Based Businesses in a Challenging Market," The Colorado Lawyer, April 2002. |
